Tina moved back to Leavenworth County and built a home on the property where she grew up. There she home-schooled her children until her daughter was a sophomore and went to public school. At that time, Tina was hired to work part-time for K-State Research & Extension- Leavenworth County. In September 2021, she was offered the full-time position and accepted.
